Valhalla Font

For my advanced typography course final project, I designed a font inspired by Norse artistry and mythology. Drawing from ancient runic alphabets and Viking symbolism, the Norse typeface embodies the mystique of the Viking era while blending traditional motifs with modern typographic sensibilities.

I researched and designed each letter to evoke the rugged texture of stone carvings found in Norse history. Collaborating with peers and instructors, I balanced historical accuracy with modern design principles, resulting in a typeface that not only captivates with its authenticity but also serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of Norse culture.
